Hall of Famer Jack Thommen, 80, passed away this week due to melanoma. Thommen was inducted into the Northern Section Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007 when he was recogized for decades of helping inner city youngsters get acquainted with tennis.

Thommen was an outstanding tennis player in Minneapolis high school tennis and on into college.

Visitation set for Sunday 5:00 to 8:00pm at Bloomington Covenant Church 10150 Xerxes Ave South. Funeral service Monday at the church at 11:00am.
